What do you think about facebook's new upgrades?

I visit facebook about once a month now. Before they had updated it with the new look and everything, I was going on it every day. The new facebook seems to slow my internet down too. :(

Facebook's really rediculous. The new edits are pointless, and really I *hate* all the new groups and applications that are added. They also send you a bagilion app. requests that you don't want.. so basically facebook epically fails.

I really don't see how it makes a difference either way. Had facebook originally been designed like this people would have an uproar if it was changed. People that frequent social networking sites to the point of getting angry about it's layout are just too picky about change. I don't see the big deal in having a layout change. It's not the end of the world is it?

Hmm well personally I was FOR every upgrade that they had done in past. There was outcries of protest against every upgrade, yet I liked each one they did. This one is completely different. They completely sold out to compete with Twitter, rather than continuing on in their own direction. They are facebook NOT twitter.

Google is doing rather well, yet facebook isn't coming up with a search the web feature and that is because that isn't them. I dunno I just really dislike the site now. I can't find anything anymore. I am addicted to facebook and probably always will be, but I pride myself on knowing EXACTLY what is going on; I don't and can't anymore. I don't like that loss of control.

I don't really care anymore because Facebook can be a waste of time and I never really do anything on it anymore.

I quite like it. So many people have complained about it and I really don't see why. I actually prefer it over it's previous look, if anything.

I'm not really a big fan of the most recent changes, and I think it's because in the past the changes mostly only affected layout, whereas the most recent changes have been to the way in which you recieve notifications and monitor activity on the site. It's become more like Twitter because people are able to monitor more of people's activities in the feed, causing them to in turn update more frequently, and therefore turning it more into a nanoblog than a social networking site. However, I also think some of that has to do with the rise in availibility of Facebook on phones with internet access.

The upgrades now are pretty cool, but when they first started changing it, it was garbage.

I like the new updates. At first I didn't like the changes in facebook, but its actually changing for the better.

I check Facebook once every month, and any upgrades they make don't really matter to me.
