What are torrents? |

Torrents are files which contain a 'reference' to a file, or a group of files that are stored in a computer or in various computers. The purpose of torrents is to fetch the files and download them to your computer. |

To expand from above, you need a particular program to be able to utilize the torrent to obtain the files. Programs such as uTorrent and Vuze are common. You must obtain a torrent, open the file, and let the program do its job. |

|
And keep extending it =P, torrents need "seeders" in order to be downloaded. Seeders are people that have the content of the torrent and are sharing it as well. No seeders = nothing can be downloaded. |
