How can I clean my laptop screen?

Parasyte: I opened a can of Mountain Dew a little too close. >_<

I find that just using common items around the house just makes my screen dirtier. I would recommend getting a cloth that doesn't give off pesky fibers that get stuck to the screen as well as some screen cleaner. I have them and I clean my screen every 2 days or so.

My laptop came with a silky type cloth material, it works perfect for cleaning the screen and the computer.

Mine too (pwnageness, HP) but one day our maids came and I never saw it again.

What Kenbo said. You can get soft cloths you can use to wipe finger prints and such off. If you wear glasses, the same cloth you use to clean that'll work, too.

Also, keep an eye open in computer stores, they sometimes have special "wet wipes" that are made to clean screens but not damage them.

See, that's what happens when you do the dew! I recommend a micro-fibre cloth and an anti-static spray.
