What is inside batteries that makes them work? How do they run out of power? |

If I am correct, it's battery acid. And they run out of power when they run out of acid. |

I believe you are correct. I am thinking that the acid holds the electrical charge that keeps a battery running. |

Generally there are two parts, one is the cathode, the other is the anode, using chemical reactions(a lot of the time oxidation others through h+ reactions) the battery moves electrons from one chamber to the other through a wire on the outside and some sort of electrolyte on the inside. its just basically the exchange of anions and cations.
