To capture memories and also to use it as a form of art |

To revisit past experiences when they are old and their memory has left them. |

Nostalgia at a later date, to re-experience memories forgotten, and to capture a vision within one's own mind so that later on another may share the vision and possibly feel similar emotions as the one originally capturing the vision. |

|
Taking pictures is art to some ,and others like to even see pictures of our ancestors. |

|
So they can brag about them on facebook, obviously. |
