I always wondered why it is so great to have a cig after eating...I think it satisfies u more...but do u think its more because of mental factors or the chemicals?

Well, if this is something someone does as a habit, which most do, then it is the satisfaction of fulfilling the habit.

Some people subconciously get pleasure out of it because their group of friends will smoke after meals and they can join this thus they get the pleasure of socializations.

Personally I prefer smoking before I eat. Doing so afterwards gives me a bit of a headache.

Its like dessert, it is all in your head. Our brain works systematically. If you constantly smoke after meals your brain and body will expect that, therefore you will feel great and euphoric when smoking after you eat. Think about what happens when you dont smoke after you eat.

I know that smoking makes me more docile and comfortable, so they're absolutely the best after a strenuous meal (or sex, lawl). Ironically, they're great after workouts as well. Smoking raises your heart rate and blood pressure, but the nicotine mellows you out.

I used to get nauseated when smoking after a meal, but now I prefer it.

Same here! I used to smoke after I worked out...even though smoking raises your bp it would actually help calm me down. At least I know I'm not the only one ;)

I am wondering why smoking cigarettes makes me feel so good after I smoke it.... actually at times smoking cigarettes puts me into a confrontational ease out to my problems only for a short time, but then I would start thinking of the next one, makes sense?

it's not that difficult, it makes the cigarette less harsh on your lungs, well for mines at least..

Well, we all know a cigarette is satisfying. And we all know your satisfied after a meal, so if you smoke after a meal, it's like satisfaction squared. p.s. Chicken nugget, your a fagot, squared.

For me it makes me fill less full...especially if I ate too much or feel bloated!

I believe after a meal you feel full, so you want to set down and relax with a cigarette in your hand. I think that when you smoke after a meal you burn calories, that's why when you stop smoking you gain weight.
