What is the point of spamming?knewk: As hypocritical as it may seem, I've always wondered this. What is the point of just wasting server space and people's time like this? |

My guess is that the person who's doing it finds it entertaining, ruining another persons day. |

They live very boring lives, and the best thing to make things more interesting is to bother people they do not know from miles away on the internet. I think of it as this decades version of prank phone calls... It is annoying but eventually they may grow out of it. |

Hah, yeah. People just do it out of sheer boredom, hoping to make their day just that much more interesting by making messes that they really don't feel any repercussions from. |

i think its a scheme by whomever owns companys that own antivirus software. who ever it is is smart. and greedy. just like the cable company has a deal with all tv manufacturers so that you cant just plug your tv in the wall and watch a basic network, you have to get cable to see anything. they both make money that way. |
