I'm quite fond of Gmail, myself. I've been using it for about... about 5 years now. I'm really quite fond of their system, how easy it is to navigate, and how well versed the entire thing is. The spam filter is amazing, for example, and it automatically remembers contacts for you. And you can search through your mail extraordinarily easily and instantly. Doesn't just search the titles but the body as well.

One really nice thing about it is it organizes emails into conversations. If you keep replying to the same email over and over it'll keep all those conversations every time in tabs:

Any of those tabs you can click and it'll instantly pop open that email. Super handy for long term conversations and makes organization incredibly easy.

Another huge thing is how much space they provide. With yahoo I was always worried about hitting their space limit, especially if somebody sends me a huge attachment. If they send me this huge file and plugs up my storage than I can't receive any my emails until it's cleared up. With gmail I'm getting almost 8gb of free space...I mean, what are the chances I'll even come close to using all that space?

Knowing Google is a big company too also makes it pretty reliable. Cell phones, for example, can navigate gmail accounts quite easily.

All in all, after using both hotmail and yahoo in the past, gmail is going to be my email provider.

I also use Gmail. I think it is the best email. I get the emails sent to my phone the T mobile G1, which is featured by Google.

My personal email address is through Gmail, and I am quite satisfied. My band is through Yahoo since it is so simple. And since I have MSN messenger, I have a Hotmail account that I really don't use for much.

Way back in the day, when I still had dial-up, I used AOL. That was alright, but the "Hello, you got mail!" kind of scared me. I also have used Insight BB, which I found to be very simple and worked well with me. Yahoo is one that I currently use as a public thing for when I sign up for stuff or desire updates. It is decent, but the annoying news headlines bother me. I never liked Gmail, but that is me. My absolute favorite is my college's personal email. It is quick, there is little clutter around it, and I have never had problems with messages on it. Widely known emails are always cluttered with ads and such, so I can never really enjoy those because the blinking and spam get on my nerves.

You can always use some sort of desktop client like Outlook so you don't see the ads too :P

I prefer Hotmail (mine are all either @live.com or my personal domain). Just simple but the the JS loading can be quite annoying on low speed connections.
