What is a good program to use to record music with my computer?

Deviant Audio: Mixing/mastering capabilities would be necessary as well.

You could try Audacity. It's not good for making your voice sound better, but it does have a bunch of effects, and it's free.

Reason.

Mixing and Mastering is without a doubt ProTools. It's the industry standard across the board and is without equal according to many. Of course, ProTools costs more than most cars, so good luck with that one.

Audacity is great for entry level work.
