Some really cool command prompt tricks are "msconfig". That one is really useful because it opens up a utility where you can control exactly what starts up on your computer in the "starup" section. To speed up a computer many times over, disable everything that doesn't say "microsoft" or relates directly to things you need to use your computer. Use caution. I turn off things like iTunes, adobe, and Limewire. |
