How many people play World of Warcraft?

I downloaded the free trial, but I only played it for a day or two, 'cause I didn't like it much.

WoW boasts over 10 million in their commercials, but I'm assuming that's only copies of disks sold, not active accounts. My best guess for people that actually pay for it would be around 8 million though.

It's said about 11 million people are always online. I stopped playing because it took too much time out of my day.

It's supposedly the most widely played game of all time, currently. And that's pretty sad considering that Diablo is so much better.

I have never played it, but if Tollenar says it's a life changer then you should trust him.

Way more than I'd want to think. Blizzard Entertainment made over 1 Billion USD last year.. Majority of that was Monthly WoW subscribers.. O_O

I never tried it. I don't really want to either. MMORPGs just don't interest me at all.

It says 2012 is 15 mil
