Has anyone ever had any problems with buying used video games or used video game console?

Kenbo: If so, where did you buy it from? So I know where not to buy used games. I have never had any problems buying used video games or video game counsel. But, I have always had the thought in the back of my head that I would come across a bad used copy.

I assume you mean "console"?

Well, yes. I bought two games from GameStop, and neither of them worked. So I took them back, replaced them, and then the two STILL didn't work! So it couldn't have been the games, it must've been the console.

I did mean console, thanks man. I couldn't find the right spelling of console for the life of me. Different searches came up different spellings.

Nah, while I haven't bought a used console I've bought used games that, for the most part, work fine.

I don't buy used consoles but the ones I trade in/give away are always in perfect condition (albeit the portables are usually missing the shitty console id info) and in the original box with wrapping and all

The games are the same and most stores are pretty good about checking them. I have only bought a few and they have all worked :)
