What are good ways to save gas for your car?

Dio: Gas is expensive these days, and it always feels like I run out of gas so quick. What are good ways to save gas while driving?

First off, always keep your windows up. Second, whenever you park your car, park it in the shade.

Pick a mode of transportation that is more efficient in fuel intake. Did you know in France they recently released an automobile that basically runs on compressed air?

Of course there are other common forms: carpool, bus, bicycle, walking, uh wheelchair? Oh, and you can do that thing where you go the slowest speed possible and only hit your gas pedal whenever necessary but mostly you are going by the weight of gravity as it pulls your vehicle along.

I think they call that hypermile-ing(not 100% sure) And it really pisses people off, lol. I guess it is more suited to places with less traffic.

There are plenty of things. Properly inflated tires really do make a difference. That was common knowledge long b4 Obama handed out tire pressure keychains. Not rushing up to stop signs or traffic lights-you already know you have to stop. Getting on the gas to maintain your speed before you start going up a hill. Maintain higher speeds on the highway- Like Miley Cyrus says(on freaking every formatted station I listen to, lol) It's the climb. The rise to the higher speed uses more fuel than staying put at that speed.

Don't hit the gas pedal when you know you don't have to. That will come with time.

Remove extra weight from your car. Like if your trunk is full of clothes and junk, get it out of there. It was either 20 pounds, or 100 that when removed increased mileage by 1mpg, on a show I saw a while ago. I think it was 20 though.

Don't speed away from stop signs either.

Ah, there you go. I'm usually the one who jams his foot on the gas pedal the moment the light turns green, haha. I don't know why, I just like driving fast. Didn't know that burns so much gas. I also need to stop rushing to stop signs and red lights.

I'll start doing this tomorrow and see if I have any good results.

yeah, a lower acceleration uses less gas, and coasting whenever you have the opportunity is wonderful.

MDI car. It runs off of compressed air.

There are many alternatives, this one is just cheap.
