How does the Questional Texting feature work?

Deviant Audio: I was wondering how exactly sending a text message would somehow get transferred to the site. It's pretty intense, and perhaps if I were not broke, I would try it.

Its really easy actually. I'm not gonna show you code, but I'll talk it out for ya.

The server side script we use, PHP, is given login information to the email address all the text messages are sent to. If it notice's and new messages, there are new questions. It takes the phone number the text message was sent from, and looks if there is an account attached to that phone number. If so, the question is attached to that member. The script then takes all the information, and adds it into the database. Easy as pie.

Yepp. And sorry we can't get any more specific than that DA, I'm going to try to market the texting technology to other companies to supplement the company bills & all that jazz.

We're the only website that I know of that utilizes texting and e-mail in this manner which I think is cool :D
