You would get one bigger black hole!

Neither would move unless one was bigger than the other :/

After that, nothing would probably get sucked into either one because of equal gravitational attraction, unless another object bumped one further towards one of the black holes.

...or, ya know, the galaxy would collapse :D

I would think the universe would collapse, not just the galaxy.

the universe is way too vast for that to happen quickly. Unless, of course, a significant number of galaxies collapsed and broke everything else :P

Well, I will think of the energy forces of the two black holes in a similar fashion as rams during mating season. The rams will buck horns with each other. The larger, stronger ram is going to win, and the smaller weaker one fails. In the case of the black holes, instead of them remaining like separate entities, I would suspect one of them to collapse within the other. With the smaller one's collapse, I imagine there would be large repercussions that would occur and reflect on surrounding parts of the universe nearby this event.
