What is in insulation (the pink stuff) that makes it so harmful to humans?

I believe fiberglass is the most harmful. Would not want to breathe that in, that's for sure.

I made a fort out of insulation once. That was a dumb idea. But I was little so I didn't know...

I washed it off before it started to irritate my skin though.

Asbestos isn't in insulation anymore.

In America, it is Fiber-glass. Not all other countries have out-lawed Asbestos. Even in America a lot of older buildings have asbestos, the only requirement by law is that if it is exposed you have to remove/replace it, and you cannot install it. Most of the older buildings on EKU's campus have asbestos insulation.


Also, do not burn it, its just like smoking menthols except without the minty flavor.

does pink asbestos harm you in the long run like white asbestos does?
