It's just like tagging a YouTube video, except here you can do it with other peoples questions, and you get points for it.
To tag a question, simply hit the tag button right above the rate box.

Tags are a way to categorize questions in a "human way". For instance, if a question was about "web design" and didn't have the words "web design" in it, it would not show up in a site search. But you can click on any tag and see every question on the site that is affiliated with that tag.

To set a tag click "tags" at the top of a question. If your the first to tag something, you get a point. I just tagged your question "tags" and "questional". Clicking [link name=questional]http://questional.com/tag.php?fn=view&tag=questional[/link], every question on the site that is "questional" related shows up.

Its pretty nifty. ^^

I am not sure if this is included right now, but if not I know they are working on this...

For things like the search feature, you will(?) be able to look up a word and questions that have been tagged with that word should be brought up. But like I said, if this is not in effect now, it will be in the future... (Right admins? >_> Lookiing for justification here.)

You are absolutely correct Nugget. Search is a bit blah right now; I'm upgrading it ASAP with nifty stuff as well as an upgrade that should increase effectiveness by at least 40% ;)

Woot! I thought as much. I had to make sure though because I am not in the know as much as you are obviously.
