How hard is it to type text messages on the iPhone?

bobbonew: I want an iPhone so damn badly, but I just dunno how hard its gonna be to type texts.

I'm used to be able to us T9 and type texts without even looking at the keypad!

I've used an iPod touch to type on the internet, and it wasn't hard at all.
Of course, you could just try here if you think it is.

Lol, those tips are kinda useless. The problem with touch screen phones is that using your thumbs results in a metric shitton of errors. Otherwise, they're primarily common sense.

It's a pain in the ass, but people get used to it eventually.

It's hard at first, but then you get used to it and you type them with no errors. Or at least its my case, I type like an expert with that thing now.

The only time I've ever tried it, since I don't own an i-phone, was on someone else's at a club. They had a rubber tipped stylus, but I couldn't get it to work.

it can be a bit hard, but even if you just started, you should only get a couple letters wrong. if you want to be REALLY accurate, just use your index finger.

It stinks. I type every letter but the right one. After a couple week, back to my Samsung.
