Does eating carrots help a persons vision?

I think Carrots are high in Vitamin K, which promotes healthy vision. Won't necessarily make it any better, though.

It should to be helpful, but a person's genetics will overrule in most cases. I ate carrots a lot when I was younger and my vision is horrible. Thank you maternal and paternal gene donors.

Carrots in enough quantity can supply you vitamins and nutrients to help restore lost vision. They can't make your eyesight any better than it naturally is, though.

At least, that's the word.

I've heard that it's "good for your eyes" but I'm not sure exactly what everyone means by that. I guess it can help it while you're developing but it won't repair damage.

I don't really like carrots. Raw is okay... I prefer cooked ones which usually makes all the vitamins useless. Genetics are the biggest factor for eyesight.
