What was the first version of Photoshop called? |

The original pilot for Photoshop was a simple program called Display, used to showcase grayscale images. It was designed by Thomas Knoll who was at length encouraged to turn the software in a photo manipulation and editing program. Doing so had the project renamed to ImagePro until is was eventually pitched to Adobe and sold. In 1990 is was published and distributed as Adobe Photoshop and would come to be the company's flagship product. |
