Can you die from a jellyfish sting?

Not unless your allergic to it or unless its a poisonous jelly

I'm sure you could depending on the jelly fish. I've been stung countless times and it doesn't even hurt. It just itches for a few minutes then turns red. That's it for me at least.

It depends on the jellyfish, where it stung you, where you were when you got stung, how fast you got treated, if you're allergic, a number of things.

I'm pretty sure you would have to be allergic. Because the sting itself is just under the surface of your skin.

I guess you could if it got infected.

You could die from a sting by a Man of War just because the venom is so horrible and the jellyfish itself is huge.
