Sort of. They are half asleep and half awake when they "sleep", so they can watch what's around them.

sharks are the same as dolphins if they stop swimming they will drown so the simple soloution is to make half of your brain sleep and one half awake at the same time!, off the subject sharks are my fav species of fish ever, and im sick of people who think that they purposly attack humans i mean yeah ive been attacked by a reef shark while qualifying for diving instructor but i still dive out every day to study these beautiful beasts of the deep.

No they dont sleep. they have to keep swimming around to breathe

Sharks are my favorite thing and I know every thing about them and they do not sleep. They have to keep moving to breathe if stopped for 6 min or so it would choke.

No, because they need oxygen, just like we do, but sharks get oxygen through water by their gills and if they stopped moving they would drown. Sharks don't sleep.
