Can cell phones really cause any harm, cancer or brain tumors?

Believe it or not that rumor actually does hold some water. Repeated and constant exposure to the radiation emitted by cell phones can actually be detrimental to the health of the human brain. The chances of it actually being significant for the average cell phone user is pretty low so unless you've got a bluetooth headset glued to the side of your head you've got nothing to worry about.

This is not entirely correct. There is no evidence that the type of radiation emitted by cell phones does any damage to living cells.

Cell phones haven't been around long enough for anyone to say for sure what long term harm they might cause.

Apparently, there haven't been tests for long term cell use. Kinda scares you but we can only hope for the best.

Yes there may b a chance a cell phone's main source of RF energy is produced through its antenna. The antenna of newer hand-held cell phones is in the handset, which is typically held against the side of the head when the telephone is in use. The closer the antenna is to the head, the greater a person's expected exposure to RF energy. The amount of RF energy absorbed by a person decreases significantly with increasing distance between the antenna and the user. http://www.biblehealth.com/brain-cancer/brain-cancer-and-its-facts.html
