How do you feel about little kids with cell phones?

I think its a waste of money, they should be doing homework or learning to draw, or dieting. American kids are fat.

I also doubt its good for their brains...

It annoys me. Most don't even leave their parents often, so they don't need it much.

I think its dumb for kids to have them. I think a teenager should start having a phone when they start driving around the age of 16.

It is very obnoxious.

Some parents give their kids everything. What does a little kid need a cellphone for anyway? Even I don't have one, and my life is none the worse for it. If anything, it is better.

I have written an article (well, sorta an article) that talks about technology and I touch the topic of kids with cellphones.

I think they are a necessary evil nowadays in a child's life. But at the same time, I don't think they need a latest model kind of cellphone either. Thing is here, they need to communicate more with their parents because the world is more dangerous for children nowadays. I don't know about any countries out of Bolivia, but here there have been many children abductions lately, so the rate has increased brutally this year.

There are some special cellphones specifically designed for kids that only have a few buttons: A button to call dad, a button to call mom, answer, and hang up. There are some that give more "freedom", like a parents programmed phonebook, call 911, call any other emergency service, etc.. Those are the kind of cellphones children need. But anything out of that is obnoxious.

Why do little kids (13 and younger) need cell phones? They don't drive, they don't go out, they don't leave their parents, they don't have friends who have cell phones. What is the point? It's just another distraction for them to mess up in school.

	However, that doesn't mean that they will face any serious problem in many common places, like in school itself. The simple cellphones I mentioned above are good enough to just keep a kid communicate and prevent him from getting distracted.

I have an advanced phone but I do leave my parents side I walk to school swim at the pool 6 days a week and play soccer plus two thirds of my friends have phones so I think it is totally nesasary
