I'm not 100% on this but I think it was Donkey Kong. One of the best games in my opinion. A close second favorite would be Pitfall.

Donkey Kong was their first really popular game in North America but not their first game by far.

If you really wanna go back a long way Nintendo's first game were Hanafuda playing cards when Nintendo was founded in Kyoto in 1889.

If you're talking about Nintendo's first video game, that would be their arcade Laser Clay Shooting system. Their first arcade machine games were Computer Othello and Block Fever, if I remember correctly.

Oh no the video games came much later in the 1970's. In 1889 Nintendo was purely a card game company.
