When is the iPhone 5 coming out?

Luckily for us, Apple seems to have a regular yearly release cycle for iPhones (one per year). Typically it seems as though the new version is announced in early June, and released a month later. This has been the case for every version of the iPhone and one can only hope that rings true this year.

With the iPhone 4 having flub after flub however we can't be sure they will "rush" anything - of all things Apple does not want to tarnish their name.

I am not sure when in the states but it is coming out in October or a bit later in Europe, Germany.

Why can't it just come out already!

Because they want us to want it more, they're probably 3 years ahead and want to keep us interested for every little thing.

There will be no iPhone 5 this year.

No mention at all at the WWDC.

It is meant to come out September this year from what i have read, but I'm guessing that it will probably come out later this year maybe November/ December or early next year.

There is no iPhone 5. Apple announced that they are not making any new hardware. The operating system iOS5 is announced to be released in the 3rd quarter of the year.

Speaking as someone who works for Apple (and NOT in a store) there will be NO iPhone 5 this year. 2011 is the year of the OS. Lion for the computers and iOS5 for the devices. Sorry folks.

So there wouldn't be any iPhone 5 anymore? What about next year? :(

There won't be iPhone 5 because there is nothing much to advance from currently using iPhone 4. It's mind blowing.

Yes hoping they come up with at least 14 megapixel and a better reception and few short cuts.

Its looking likely that the iPhone 5 will be coming out in September/ October, a Taiwanese factory has been isued to make over 25 million parts for the new iPhone, and they're working on an 8 megapixel camera to go in it, so its looking likely!

It will be out between sept. and dec. this year!

So tired, tired of waiting, tired of waiting!

I'm tired of waiting too! My iPhone 3 is cracked and looking terrible, and I don't want to upgrade to iPhone 4 because I know (and hope) the new one is around the corner!

When is iPhone 5 coming out in China, and is it or is it not coming out?

iPhone 4 is good except the square body is annoying.

The iPhone 5 is coming soon. It's getting released in international like America, China ect.
Then is will be coming to Australia! :)

So it should be coming end of the year most likely!

iPhone 3G released in October 2008.
iPhone 4 released in 2010.

Only logical that the next iPhone would be released in 2012.
