Can you jailbreak iOS 5?

(Guest): Apple just announced iOS 5 which has me really worried if I will be able to keep my iPhone jailbroken or not!

Have no fear! @MuscleNerd on Twitter announced earlier today that he had successfully jailbroken the first developer release candidate of iOS 5. So yes iOS will be able to be jailbroken!

Many people (including myself) were worried when over the air updates were announced - thus thinking the jailbreak wouldn't hold or be easily broken by Apple. He's also thought of that aspect and says that there will most definitely be a jailbreak app to prevent that if Apple decides to make those updates mandatory.

With the iOS/iPhone fan and developer being so large I think we can always count on the devs to find a jailbreak.

Yes. To do this first restore iPod then unplug it after it's done then you want to turn off the iPod and restore it again and that's how you do it with iOS 5.0.1
