Pretty damn slim. I once heard that if you went to the moon and back and bought a ticket for every mile you traveled your odds of winning would still be minuscule.

From what I understand, the money won by that one lucky person is brought in by the ticket sales. So if you're big lottery is $31 mill., your chances are probably a little ways below 1 in 31,000,000.

I'm of the belief that statistics are kind of bullshit, though. I mean, when you break it down, everything's 50/50: it either happens, or it doesn't.

	I can't see how everything would be 50/50, yes, for everything it either happens or it doesn't, but in this case there's a higher chance it doesn't happen than the chance of it happening. A rather optimistic view you have, Isc.

Sorry Iscariot, but it is not 50/50. That's not possible. Yes, it either happens or it doesn't, but that doesn't mean the chances for either are equal.
