I've read and seen substantial evidence that says that there is (or at least was from the 50's to the 80's) mostly prototypes of air force built flying saucers there because we want to try and use the design in war. It could possibly be a scapegoat for something bigger, but don't forget that the government never told the public that area 51 existed. I think its existence was leaked from an unknown source or something like that. Does anyone actually know where area 51 is located (more specific than the desert in New Mexico)?

I can't imagine a whole lot is hidden... especially with Burning Man being held not too far above it every year. I suspect the once great Area 51 has been relocated somewhere else and the reputation stayed here. Not to say there isn't anything there, of course. Got all the material there already... might as well do something.

A website I really shouldn't go to tells me that there's nothing there, and that they only created it to see how the general public would react. The dude said it was all a big experiment.
