Does anyone on Questional wake up in the morning with a song or melody in their head? Even more, how about a song that you've never heard in your entire life?

Razoron: I get this a lot. It happens to me at least twice a week, where my mind would wake up in the morning (but im still curled up in my bed) and there will be a song running through my head. Then i'll notice that it's a "song" i've never heard before. Basically it's a tune my mind just made up. This is where the real challenge comes in, because sometimes ill be too lazy to get up and record/get it down somehow. Usually, if i dont get up, i wont remember the tune anymore.

i was gonna put this under "Music", but then this sort of phenomenon could happen in other things as well.

You sir, might be a musical genius.

I'd suggest recording any tune that your mind creates.

Yes, it happens to me when ever I feel a state of heightened emotion, and I'm thinking about music.

I wake up with weird songs in my head. One morning I woke up humming the meow mix jingle. I thought I was going crazy. Even weirder is when a song appears in my dream out of nowhere.

I have, on occasion, had this happen as well. It is fantastic!

I heard Ozzy singing a non-existent song in my head once while I was stoned, and I heard an AC/DC song that doesn't really exist once while I was astral projecting. I came back and wrote down the chord progression and the lyrics. It was only two lines, but still pretty cool.

I find that after I've been awake for like 30 hours, I can sometimes hear music and other audio hallucinations. I would recommend doing something like that for people who want to write a song but can't come up with a melody.

That's actually why I'm here. I was searching Google for a way to improve that ability (if it is an "ability"), or a way to increase the likelihood or frequency of such phenomena.

The demon possessed also display this ability on occasion.
