For bad burns, it's important to keep them covered and moist (neosporin works good).
Few things hurt more than a bad burn that dries out and gets all craclky. Ouch!

First you need to determine the degree of the burn. And at the same time, lol... ask the same health professional what to do. Nothing personal Memetix, but a bad burn to me and you is something different. I burn my legs a lot on Motorcycle pipes cause I'm a jacka**. You might never burn yourself.

Kinda of late now, but cool water will feel good probably. Depending on the degree of the burn, you don't want to put anything on it because it can keep the heat in. if you're not in a hospital, but it still hurts really bad, probably a second degree burn. It'll blister, the last thing you want to do is pop it. The fluid underneath treats the area that will be the new skin, and eventually the blister will empty and just kind of go away. If you leave it alone.
